The past few weeks, I’ve been in Israel.

It started out as a wonderful trip — spending time with my grandchildren, soaking in the joy only family can bring.

There’s nothing better than hearing your grandkids laugh as you splash around in the pool together.

But in Israel, even a peaceful afternoon at the pool can change in a heartbeat.

Last Friday, while swimming with my grandchildren at the pool club, the piercing sound of an air raid siren tore through the air.

We immediately ran for shelter.

Another missile, this one launched by the Houthis from Yemen, was heading toward central Israel.

Thank God, the missile was intercepted before it could cause any damage.

Just minutes later, we were back at the pool — kids were back playing, adults were trying to act like everything was normal.

But let’s be honest: This isn’t normal. This is insanity.

A Voice of Clarity and Conviction: My Visit with Ambassador Mike Huckabee

No other country in the world would tolerate this. Missiles fired at civilian populations — again and again — by terrorists.

Yet the world continues to tell Israel to “show restraint.”

Restraint? What would any other nation do if its citizens were running for cover at the sound of sirens while terrorists fired rockets from hundreds of miles away?

I’m grateful that President Trump understands this.

He has shown moral clarity in a time when far too many world leaders prefer to stay neutral.

He knows exactly who the villains are. And he’s working side-by-side with Israel to destroy Hamas, defeat the Houthis, and most importantly — bring home the hostages.

As of today, it’s been 583 days since innocent men, women, and children were dragged into Gaza by Hamas and held in what can only be described as hell on earth.

But amid all this, there are still moments of deep pride and gratitude.

On Friday, I had the great honor of visiting the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, where I spent time with Ambassador Mike Huckabee.

At the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem with Ambassador Mike Huckabee — a man of deep faith, unwavering conviction, and a true friend of Israel.

Ambassador Huckabee has always been a man of conviction, faith, and deep love for Israel.

He told me, “I’m still amazed that a kid from Hope, Arkansas, is now the U.S. Ambassador to the State of Israel. Only in America.”

We spent nearly an hour together — talking about current events, our families, and business.

He asked me to send his warmest regards to all the members of Prosperity Research.

And more than anything, he asked that we continue to pray — for his mission, for the people of Israel, and for the safe return of the hostages.

This trip reminded me just how fragile — and how resilient — life in Israel can be.

In one moment, you’re tossing your grandchild up in the air in a swimming pool. Next, you’re running to a bomb shelter.

Let’s continue to stand with Israel — bound by faith, shared values, and the unshakable hope that peace and freedom will prevail.
