TAKE #1: Biden’s Big Smile
President Biden cordially welcomed President-elect Trump for the traditional transition meeting at the White House, tacitly signaling that all that “Nazi/Hitler/threat to democracy” stuff was just political rhetoric. You know: lies.
Observers pointed out that they hadn’t seen Biden smiling that wide in a long time, possibly hinting at what he really thought about being shoved aside for Kamala Harris.
In fact, the contrast between this meeting and Obama’s meeting with Trump created what some called the funniest photo of the day.
TAKE #2: “Change!”
The Trump team released the new White House press room seating chart. While there are still plenty of hostile leftist outlets, they are returning to full capacity seating and some right-leaning outlets will also be in the room, such as Newsmax, the Washington Examiner and the Daily Caller.
I’m sure liberals will howl over not having a monopoly so they can attack Trump like it’s the Roman Colosseum, but conservatives are asking why there aren’t more right-leaning outlets, such as Breitbart News or the Daily Wire.
After all, their election coverage was far more accurate than MSNBC or CNN, and they probably have more viewers.
TAKE #3: Required Reading
This Twitter/X thread should be required reading for everyone who wonders why Trump beat Kamala.
It compares the U.S. to what’s happened in Europe since the nations there decided to opt for “safety” by submitting to iron-fisted regulation by the green, globalist, “progressive” bureaucrats of the European Union, instead of the innovation and risk of America’s free market.

For one thing, the economies of the U.S. and Europe were roughly equal 16 years ago. Today, the U.S. economy is 50% bigger than the EU economy. And that’s just the first difference. No wonder, as it reveals, 90% of Europe’s tech talent wants to move to America. Read it all.
TAKE #4: Some Democrats Blame Pelosi
Nancy Pelosi has already filed to run for reelection in 2026, but there are growing signs that Democrats have had enough of her and blame her misguided tactics, including pushing Biden out of the race, for their across-the-board losses.
TAKE #5: “State of the Bible USA 2024”
The American Bible Society is releasing a series of studies called “State of the Bible USA 2024.” The eighth chapter is out, and it found that if you want to prevent loneliness, read your Bible.
The Christian Post reports that studies show “nearly three out of four Americans report moderate to high levels of loneliness, with over one-third of Generation Z women ages 18-27 experiencing high levels of loneliness.”
But the ABS study found that people with stronger spiritual lives, who offer forgiveness to others, and who are more engaged with the Bible or church are less likely to suffer from the “epidemic of loneliness.”
